Capito's Letter
February 9, 2011, Ravenswood, WV - Some of you may
have gotten a package from Shelly Moore Capito which included a letter from
Mabel Capalongo along with Century's January 1, 2011 Welfare Benefit Plan.
Apparently these two individuals went and asked the fox if it
raided the hen house, it is an insult that Capito would send us a document dated
January 1, 2011 and leading you to believe that Century has the right to steal
your benefits based on a document written by Century Aluminum without ever
negotiating it.
I believe everyone that got one of these packets should let
Ms. Capito know how they feel about her lack of representation in trying to
deceive you in this fashion.
The Union is continuing the battle in the courts to try to regain these hard
fought for NEGOTIATED benefits.
